With the optional, integrated Production Data Acquisition (PDA) from Abacus, order times can be "stamped" directly by the production employees themselves. Production and operating times can be started and stopped via simple input screens or with a barcode reader. If required, qualitative data, e.g. yields, can be recorded in addition to quantitative data.
Simple data entry
The individual dialogue control offers production staff the possibility to intuitively map resource-dependent data entry specifications. The entry can be made in the ERP itself or via the PPS portal (browser-based application) and therefore also on a mobile device (tablet). The time worked on the order, including the optional additional information, is then automatically entered in the corresponding production order. If Abacus Time Recording is also used, break times between the recorded start and stop times are automatically deducted. This reduces the number of time stamps required by production staff, as they do not have to additionally stop and start break times.
Quick and easy overview
This integration also allows occupancy lists to be displayed, which provide an overview of who is working on what or who currently has no order time allocation.
