Digital processing of the worklist

In the Abacus PPS Portal, production employees can process the work list easily and without paper.

The PPS Portal was specially developed for ERP processes in production. The Portal can be used as a digital weekly plan for processing the work list and simultaneously for recording production order times. Details on recording production order times can be found in the factsheet "Production Data Acquisition".

Browser-based application

It is a browser-based application that can also be used on mobile devices (tablet) if required.

The work list provides a list of planned work steps of a production work centre (resource) that have been released for production. All the necessary information is available online so that the responsible employees can tackle their next tasks. Work instructions, images, drawings and quality documents are all available within "clicking distance".

Select week plan / worklist

By selecting resources over a specific time horizon, a desired week plan or worklist can be created for a production work centre.

Select operation based on status and progress

This worklist shows the planned start and end date as well as the status and progress of each individual operation. This provides production employees with a practical online decision-making tool to determine which tasks should be processed next.

View work instructions

With two more clicks, the work instructions can also be viewed online. These instructions can contain tables, enumerations and images that are relevant for production.

Consult illustrations

Any illustrations or plans are also available in the PPS portal and can be displayed on screen directly from the electronic file repository (dossier).

Evaluate quality

Quality documents no longer have to be printed out, filled in by hand, signed and scanned in again. Instead, corresponding PDF documents can be opened on screen, supplemented with the quality features and saved again. Sketches and handwritten additions can also be made directly in the document.

Enter order time

As an option, production order times (start/stop) can also be entered directly in the PPS portal, fully digitalising the entire ERP process for production employees.

Finalise the operation

Once the work has been completed, a final click is all it takes to finalise the processed operation and remove it from the worklist.
